Holaa,

Here some more snaps from my arrival to Rio. There are many more posts to come because I have like thousand photos from this trip!

From the airport I took a taxi to safe some time and effort instead of adventuring with the bus. But it is also possible to get to the city center by bus.This let me some nice time to relax and enjoy the first views over Rio. The airport is on the north zone - Zona Norte so you get to see quite alot of the city on the way.

I didn't almost know which way to look as everything was new for me but here are some view snaps I took from the taxi.


  After checking in to the hostel I decided that it is time to head to the beach. The hostel has amazing location as it is only one block away from the beautiful Ipanema beach just before Posto 9. The weather was really nice so only thing to worry about is finding my flipflops and the exploring was set to start.

When i arrived to the beach the feeling was something that I will not even be able to explain. I had been waiting for this moment for so many years that it felt unreal to feel the sun, put my feet in the sand and enjoy the view. One of the moments that I will never forget.

I knew that there had been a reason why when I was 14 I decided that one day I need to go to Brazil. Now it just made so much sense and I knew I had arrived to a place that I will love forever. I mean just look at this.














I was set out to meet some local friend that I met this summer in Barcelona and enjoy the beach and my first caipirinha!! You could maybe tell from my smile that I was very happy and I also said to my friends how lucky they are to be living in this paradise!

Beach was not too crowded and we could just enjoy watching locals playing football and relaxing.
