Ilha Grande - Little piece of paradise

Ola!

On Tuesday of trip I decided to continue my adventure to Ilha Grande which is an amazing tropical island around 4 hours away from Rio. Transport was easily organised through the hostel where I was staying and at 08:00 there was minibus picking me up we could start the way.

I spent the few hours glued to the car window so excited to see the nature here! We passed some little villages on the and it was interesting to see how is life outside of the city but the further we went the lanscape change more to jungle, mountains and fields. Just amazing! This made me think about how big this country is and how much there is to explore!

After few hours we arrived to a little village where we would take a boat to Ilha Grande. The boat part of the journey takes around 45 mins and the views are amazing. I found a spot on the top floor to make the most out of the view and it was definately the best idea.

Soon the boat started getting closer to the island and our destination Villa Abrao that is the biggest one on the island

After leaving all the stuff in the hostel it was time to start exploring the island. We met again with the guys who I met on the boat and decided to do a little hike in the jungle to reach other beaches near the village.

I love Rio but it was so nice to get more in the middle of the nature and out of town to see also other kind of lifestyle.  The weather wasnt as sunny as possible on the first days but it was still so warm and nice that I know I should live in this kind of climate forever! :D

Next time I will tell you more about the sickest snorkling and boat trip that we did on our second day in these turqoise waters! I promise you can not wait to see it.

Just looking at these pictures for a while and closing my eyes takes me back to this amazing place and feelings <3 again.="" arrive="" day="" here="" i="" one="" p="" will="">
